Ellender football to host Lenten shrimp boil

Don’t worry about scrambling to find that perfect seafood meal on Friday.

The Ellender Memorial High School football team has got it all taken care of.

The Patriots will hold a shrimp boil this Friday at the high school – a fundraiser, which will help the school’s football team for the next season.

Cost is $10 per plate and a plate will include one pound of boiled shrimp, a potato, corn and a dip.

Delivery options are also available, but there is a 10-plate minimum for that service.

Ellender coach Dave McCormick said the shrimp is going to be available on a first come, first serve basis, but that orders can be placed to guarantee a meal.

Orders placed by noon on Wednesday are guaranteed.
