Eugene Gene LeCompte, Sr., 79, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, June 26, 2015.
Mr. LeCompte loved running an excavator and being at the camp, trolling. Devoted many years to Ward 7, Woodman of the World and the Lions Club.
Mr. LeCompte is survived by his wife, Deanna Martin LeCompte; sons, Eugene Jr., and Daniel (Myra) LeCompte; daughters, Darlene (Tillery) Pellegrin and Lisa (Richard) Pinell; stepdaughter, Sueanna (Jeremy) Avet; sister, Earline Naquin; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery.
