Gale “Mais Ma” Fuller Cheramie, 75, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
Mrs. Cheramie was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Council 9000 and first president. She received many awards through the KC, KC Ladies Auxiliary and the Archdiocese and was the originator of the Bereavement Food Committee at Our Lady of Prompt Succor. She loved going to casinos and garage sales, playing Pokeno, crafting, going to movies and watching shows.
She is survived by her son, Keith Cheramie; daughter, Bekki (Roddy) Sandras; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. (Falgout)
