Genevieve F. Melancon, 82, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died on Thursday, February 23, 2017.
Mrs. Melancon is survived by her companion, Norman A. Bruce; daughters, Peggy Melancon, Patsy (David) Broussard and Susan (Ken) McQuiston; brothers, Wiley Falgout; sisters, Cheryl Falgout and Hazel Matherne; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
