Coyote kill raises ire, but little action

Genevieve “Jan” Lafont Pitre, 76, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died on Monday, June 12,2017.
Mrs. Pitre loved Mardi Gras, spending time with loved ones and going to casinos.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Aubrey Pitre; daughter, Cindy Pitre; sons, Rafe (Jill) Pitre and Ricky (Debbie) Cheramie; sister, Julia Picou; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
