Gerald F. “Pete” Pennex Sr., 78, a native of Greensburg, Ind., and resident of Racleand, La., died on Monday, August 8, 2016.
Mr. Pennex retired from Avondale in 2003. He loved the Saints, fishing, casino trips and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Harriet Moore Pennex; sons, Gerald (Diane) Jr. and Darryl (Vicki) Pennex; daughters, Stephanie DeSilvey, Angela (Dale) Martin, and Benita (David) Menendez; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Mary’s Nativity Church Cemetery in Raceland.
