Helen Bergeron

Helen Hendricks Bergeron, 81, a native of Rotan, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died at 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

Mrs. Bergeron was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma and belonged to the UMW there. She decoupaged, embroidered, cross-stitched and sewed quilts. She painted and decorated carousel horses, ran marathons and became a master gardener later in life.

She is survived by her sister, Clara Allen; and step-son, Jerome (Karen) Bergeron.

Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray. (Chauvin)
