Ida Hebert

Ida Fay Jones Hebert, 84, a native of Fort Smith, Ark., and resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday September 17, 2016.

Mrs. Hebert was active in her community as a Girl Scout Leader. She loved nature, tending to her flower garden and working with her crafts.

She is survived by her son, Gil Hebert; daughters, Levurn (Murphy) Charpentier, Debra (Timothy) Ellender and Sharon (Neal) Trahan; brother, J.D. (Linda) Jones; sister, Francis Parscale; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
