Irene Falgout

Irene Ann Chaisson Falgout, 81, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:23 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

Mrs. Falgout was a parishioner of St. Eloi

Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Kaycee Auxiliary. She received the Bishops Medal for outstanding service.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Linda) and Brian Falgout; daughter, Theresa (Mark) Fischer; brothers, Ernest and Eddie Chaisson; sisters, Irna (Alton) Dupre, Carolyn Johnson and Jennie Domangue; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Houma.
