Irma Brunet

Irma Josephine Brunet, 99, a native of Bayou Dularge, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Friday, July 3, 2015.

Mrs. Brunet was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. At one time, she was a nun, teacher and farmer. She loved gardening, drinking coffee and eating seafood.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence “Larry” (Joyce) Brunet; daughters, Katherine “Kat” Smith, Cheryl Ann (Kenny) Barnes, Virginia (Raymond) Brunet; daughter-in-law, Carole Brunet; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
