Janis “Sissy” Chauvin, 56, a native of Ruston, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, March 16, 2015. Mrs. Chauvin was a member of Christ Baptist Church.
She deeply loved her Wal-mart family, and enjoyed cooking, hunting and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Chauvin; mother, Nellie Clarine Ratley Rogers and husband Mike Rogers; son, Paul (Trisha) Chauvin; daughters, Brandy and Kelsey Chauvin; brothers, Kennith (Sandra), Nelson (Cena) and Ronald (Tammy) Ratley; sister, Debra (Robert) Robichaux; and three grandchildren.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
