Jerry “T-Jerry” J. Verdin Jr., a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Mr. Verdin was a man of God who enjoyed family. He was a positive person, ready with a smile and a joke, who never met a stranger and touched many lives.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Stacey “Scooter” Verdin, son, Derrick (Alexandra Massey) Verdin; daughter, Jazer Verdin; one granddaughter; parents, Jerry J. Verdin Sr and Dorothy R. Verdin; brothers, Jason Sr. (Shanna) Verdin Sr., Joshua Sr. and Jerald (Christina) Verdin; and sister, Janice Verdin.

Burial is at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
