Jerry “Doo” J. Rogers Sr., 67, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.
Mr. Rogers was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and a hardworking man.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sheila V. Rogers; mother, Beatrice Rogers; children, Jerry Rogers Jr., Stacey Lathrop, Tangy, Kristie and Jessie Rogers; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Tammy Rogers; and numerous other relatives.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery (Samart-Mothe Funeral Home)
