Joseph G. Benoit, 78, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Choctaw, La., died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
Mr. Benoit was a loving man, according to those closest to him. They say he enjoyed the company of his closest friends.
He is survived by his sons, Paul (Jackie) and Michael (Lori) Benoit; step-daughters, Leona Adams, Cindy Giluso and Debra Henderson; brother, Russell Benoit; sisters, Bernice Bourgeois, Delores Savoie and Mary Roussel; five grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. James Chapel Cemetery in Choctaw.
