Julius Carlos

Julius “Turk” Peter Carlos, 94, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 2:28 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

Mr. Carlos was a parishioner of St.

Bridget Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army Air Corps in World War II. He retired from Texaco after 35 years and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

He is survived by his children, Linda Blakeman, Beverly (Russell) Gros, Ray and James (Mary) Carlos and Susan (Gerald) Mahan; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.

Burial is at St. Bridget Cemetery in Schriever.
