Junius “T-June” Benoit, Sr., 78, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Mr. Benoit is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise Boudreaux Benoit; sons, Junius (Sharon) Jr. and Darrel (Loma) Benoit; daughters, Gail (Russell) Melancon, Arlene (Steven) Orgeron, Florence (Mark) Dufrene, Cheryl (David) Barlow and Janice (Kerwin) Triche; brother, Clifton Benoit; sister, Shirley Hoffpauier; 17 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland.
