Karl Joseph Thibodeaux, 58, a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Mr. Thibodeaux was employed for many years as a sports reporter and photographer, where he focused on bringing high school athletes into the spotlight. He won the Louisiana Sports Writers Association writer of the year award in 1997.
He is survived by his sons, Thad (Chelsea), Tanner and Tommy Thibodeaux; mother, Grace Thibodeaux; brothers, Bennie Jr. and Kurt Thibodeaux; and sister, Sharlene Duet.
Burial is at a later date.
