Kirby Perque

Kirby Peter Perque, 87, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

Mr. Perque was the cofounder of Perque Floor Covering with his brother. He was an avid outdoorsman who also loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Gretchen (Martin) Smith, Kurt and Mark (Elizabeth) Perque and Mary (Brian) Noto; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
