SPORTS PLAYED:
Kevin was one of the top guards in the area for the Class of 2018. Recruited by many schools around the Southeast, Johnson signed with Nicholls, the first local commitment for coach Richie Riley since taking the job with the Colonels. Kevin was one of the top scorers for the Cardinals for each of the past several seasons.
STATS:
Kevin was the District 8-3A MVP and was first-team All-District several times in his career. He was also an All-State selection during his career.
GOALS:
“To try and get to the next level and do everything that I can do to help my team win. I signed with Nicholls because it feels like family.”

Nicholls got a good one in E.D. White graduate Kevin Johnson. The explosive guard was one of the top players in the state for the Class of 2017, a prized signee for Colonels coach Richie Riley. As a freshman, Kevin said he wants to continue to get stronger and make progress as he learns his role with the team. Over time, he figures to be a bigtime impact player for the Colonels.
