Leonie Picou Chiasson, 91, a native of Grand Isle, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Mrs. Chiasson loved the Church and had an all-around zest for life. She was a 1941 graduate of Larose High, and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her sons, Phillip Jr. (Bobbie), Gerald (Melanie), Douglas Sr. (Glorietta), Billy (Pamela) and Danny (Dawn); 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose. (Falgout)
