Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

L.J. Adams, 66, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Mr. Adams was employed at Bollinger Shipyard for 49 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon R. Adams; sons, Robby (Mona) and Carl (Teri) Adams; daughters, Patty (John) Loupe and Amy Adams; brothers, Bobby (Irene) and Tony (Cheryl) Adams; sister, JoAnn (Richard) Marcombe; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Lockport. (Falgout)
