Lois Foret

Lois Ann Foret, 89, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died on Monday, May 29, 2017.

Mrs. Foret was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion. She enjoyed Sunday dinners with family, playing bingo, cards and going to the casino. She was a self-taught seamstress at a young age and a great cook.

She is survived by her daughters, Tillie (Depp) Cheramie, Jennifer (Allen) Belanger and Becky (Eric) Usie; son, Rudy (Brenda) Foret; brother, Ray Pellegrin; sister, Merle Authement; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.
