Louis “L.J.” Scott Sr., 79, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Mr. Scott was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for 55 years.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Scott; children, Louis Jr. (Carol), Morris (Shirline), David (Deirdra) and Timmy (Sissy) Scott, Laura (Howard) Lefort, Debra (David) Howard and JoAnn Businelle; brother, Sidney (Doris) Scott; sister, Eunice (Franklin) Pitre; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Burial is at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
