Mamie Barbera

Mamie Tramonte Barbera, 97, a native of Galveston, Tx., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Sunday, November 27, 2016.

Mrs. Barbera was a graduate of Texas Women’s University. She enjoyed her years of service as a member of Ta Wa Si of Thibodaux. She cheered on the LSU Tigers except when they played Texas A&M.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Sam) Harvey; sons, Sam (Frances) Jr., Jerome (Judy) III, Jay (Debbie), David (Katie) and Dan (Connie) Barbera; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Thibodaux.
