Marilyn Heumann Munson, age 85, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018.
Marilyn is survived by her six loving children and their spouses, Donald H. Munson Jr. (Kendy), Richard G. Munson (Mickey), Kathleen M. McClung (Michael), Karen M. Gaidry (Tuga), Mary M. Winburn (Clinton) and John F. Munson (Ashley); her nine cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Christine, Mary Kathryn, Laura, Jessica, Benton, Amanda, Ryan and Amy; and her seven great-grandchildren; Drew, Olivia, Katherine, Paxton, Reed, Leigha and Elliott.
Marilyn always enjoyed gardening, had a keen eye for design and was a fabulous cook. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family wishes to extend a warm and heartfelt thanks to the Forest Manor staff and St. Catherine’s Hospice for their love and concern during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
