Martha Billiot

Martha “Ta-Ta” L. Billiot, 90, a native of Leeville, La. and resident of Galliano, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Billiot (companion James) and Linda (Howard) Martinsen; stepchildren, Alvin (Stella) Billiot, Lovenia Doucette, Brenda Sapp, Daisy Billiot and Melba Taylor; brother, Vincet Liner Jr.; sister, Felicia Layus; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 24 step great-grandchildren and eight step great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice and caregivers Mary Evans, Miriam Gisclair and Ramada Basulito and Dr. Gary Birdsall for their care and compassion.

Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery.
