Maurice Adams

Maurice “Sonny” Adams, 85, a native and lifelong resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.

An avid sportsman, Mr. Adams loved to fish and hunt. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he worked for American Cyanamid. He was active with the Thibodaux Fire Department, designated a permanent honorary fire chief. His name appears on a Home Hook & Ladder Co. fire truck that is still in use today.

Contributions to a charity of choice in his memory are appreciated.

Burial is at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Church Cemetery.
