Melinda Matthews

Melinda Matthews, 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:52 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017.

Ms. Matthews is survived by her son, Cortaz Taplet; daughter, Cheryl Matthews; brothers, Christopher (Kenya) Harris and Andrew and Herbert Matthews; sisters, Sylvia (Kevin) Brown, Darlene (Clarence) McGuire and Diana and Bernice Matthews; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial is at Halfway Cemetery in Gray. (Jones)
