Merle “Pookie” Dupre, 76, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
A parishioner of Annunziata Parish, Mrs. Dupre was known for her cooking and was the priopietor of Alma’s restaurant.
She is survived by her former spouse, Dennis Oncale; son, Keith Oncale; daughter, Stephanie (William) Holden; granddaughter, Joni (Amanda) Oncale; great-granddaughter, Madison Oncale and a baby on the way.
Burial is at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery. (Chauvin)
