Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

Mildred Brown, 97, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the New Magnolia Baptist Church, the choir and president of the beautifying club.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Burial is at Halfway Cemetery in Gray. (Gertrude Geddes)
