Nell Duplantis

Nell Boudreaux Duplantis, 87, a native of Little Caillou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Tuesday, June 13,2017.

Mrs. Duplantis was one of the original employees at Sears in Houma. She loved gardening and baking, with her Doberge cakes being legendary. She also enjoyed traveling the United States.

She is survived by her son, Ellery Duplantis; daughters, Linda (Doc) Graykowski and Kaye Fournier; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial is at a later date.
