Nolan P. “Foots” Eschete Jr., 85, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Friday, May 13, 2016.
Mr. Eschete was an avid saltwater fisherman and storyteller. He was a Marine veteran, having served in the Korean War, and received two Purple Hearts. He enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his sons, Stacy (Robin) and Kevin (Allison) Eschete; sister, Christine Eunice; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
