Noland “Ironman” Shelby, 76, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, May 3, 2015.
Mr. Shelby is survived by son, Noland (Oliva) Dole; daughters, Shenita Doyle, Raquel Rogers and Debra Shelby; brothers, Joseph and Tony (Kendra) Shelby; stepbrother, Craig Stratton; sisters, Evelina Shelby, Barbra (Wilfred) Nash, Ethel (Cleve) Harrison, Albertha Turner and Beatrice (Alton) Williams; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at the Third Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.
