Northern Johnson

Northern Johnson, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died on Monday October 17th, 2016.

Mr. Johnson was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Residence Baptist Church. He retired from Halliburton and enjoyed gardening and exercising.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Johnson; son, Wakine Johnson; step-son, Jovanta Robertson; daughters, Tikesha Duplantis and Tameka (Rayshawn) Mart; brothers, Bernell, Terry (Loretta) and Charles Johnson, Lionel (Maggie) and Ronnie Robinson; sisters, Bessie Tillman, Rose (Robert) Williams and Shirley Johnson; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Interment is at Union Benevolent Cemetery in Gibson.
