Olive Ruth Blouin, 90, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:42 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015.
Mrs. Blouin was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mrs. Blouin had a great faith and trust in God. She acted on faith in the service of others. She was a founding and active member of St. Gregory Catholic Church Parish in Houma.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Diana) and J. Michael (Joan) Blouin Sr.; daughters, Delly Borne and Michelle (John) Authement; sisters, Rowena Claudet and Gerry Wurner; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be held by the family at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. 2.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church in Houma or St Gregory Barbarigo Church in Houma.
