Ora Gautreaux

Ora Therese Mary Gautreaux, 87, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1830 Prospect Blvd. A memorial service will follow.

Mrs. Gautreaux was a talented seamstress. She was also a family caretaker. She was baptized in 1943 and, as a teen, preached door-to-door and witnessed in downtown Houma.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Harold Joseph Gautreaux; sons, Stephen (Janice) and Mark (Cheryl) LeCompte; stepson, Carl Gautreaux; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
