Jail inmate accused of rape dies after hanging

Patrick “Pat” Anthony Theriot, 81, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Mr. Theriot served in the United States Army and loved his family and country. He enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Annabelle Edwards Theriot; son, Dwayne, Theriot; daughters, Heidi (Earnie) Roby and Sheila (Dustin) Arnondin; brothers, Freddie Theriot and Wade Price; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houma. (Chauvin)
