Paul Brennen Benoit, 92, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:47 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015.

Mr. Benoit was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He retired from Dow Chemical as a branch manager for 40 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a member of the VFW in Jennings, La. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, dancing and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Benoit is survived by his wife, Bertha Miller Benoit; son, Paul (Son Hui) Benoit; daughters, Cynthia (Rodney) Gaudet and Karen (Daniel) Blanchard; brother, Lawrence (Alice) Benoit; sister, Verlie Mier; seven grandchildren; and

13 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
