Paul “Peter” Bergeron, 76, a native of Montegut, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 8:15 a.m.
Mr. Bergeron was a Christian man and a great provider to his family. He enjoyed fishng with his sons and making them cast nets.
He loved the water, starting as a deckhand but then working his way up to captain. He was also a welder.
He is survived by his wife Esea Naquin Bergeron; sons Brian Bergeron Sr., Edmond Bergeron (Sherri), Elliott Bergeron (Eydie), Joshua Bergeron (Ginger); brother Nolan Bergeron; sisters Lena Bergeron and Theresa Chiasson; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
