Phillip Boudreaux

Phillip “Philbo” Boudreaux, 76, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died on Friday, April 7, 2017.

Mr. Boudreaux worked for 50 years selling appliances for Gildenmire Distributors and McDonald Sales. He was a member of the Piece of Cake band and was inducted into the Louisiana Swamp Pop Hall of Fame for the song “Don’t Take it so Hard.”

He is survived by his son, Anthony (Wanda) Boudreaux; daughter, Beth Boudreaux; brother, Norman Boudreaux Sr.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial is at a later date.
