Pierre “August” Solet, 77, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Mr. Solet enjoyed fishing, fixing things, gardening and spending time with family. He also had a strong affection for cats.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Theresa Ann Gregoire Solet; sons, Darren (Theresa), Wayne (Angela) and Hank (Samantha) Solet; daughter, Amamphes Solet; brothers, Joseph, Junius (Linda) and Raymond Solet; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Family Cemetery in Dulac.
