Ellender linebacker J’amire Mott hasn’t needed much time to solidify himself as a top-notch varsity football player. Mott started as a sophomore for the Patriots, and solidified himself as a big-play threat throughout the season for the Patriots’ defense. Now as a junior, Mott is hungry to show people that the Ellender football program is back under first-year coach David McCormick. Mott said he hopes to play college football when he graduates.
