You’ll be hearing Nelton Allen’s name a lot in the coming months. A dominant, bruising halfback for the Central Lafourche football team, Allen is expected to be one of the top players in the area in the 2016 season. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season and was a leader in the Trojans’ locker room. Away from the field, coaches say that Allen is laid back and is a pleasure to be around. He plans to play college football upon graduating, while majoring in finance.
