Name: Jacie LeBoeuf

School: Larose-Cut Off Middle School

Sports: Basketball, volleyball, track and cheering

Best advice ever given by a coach: “Self-improvement is like a tree. We don’t notice daily growth, yet eventually we gasp at the huge change.”

Favorite sport: Basketball

Why? I like being part of a team and the excitement that I feel when I do something good.

Favorite athlete: Steph Curry

Why? Because he’s the best 3-point shooter in the world and a great passer.

Favorite food: Steak

What do you want to be when you’re older? An orthopedic surgeon

Best sports achievement: Winning the Middle School State Title at LCO.

Credentials: Jacie LeBoeuf doesn’t have much spare time. But that’s by design. The young LCO student is active in several sports, enjoying success in each. But she says that her favorite pastime is in basketball, where she is a starter for the Lady Bulldogs, who won the 2013-14 Middle School State Championship. Jacie says that she’s a big fan of Steph Curry, touting that she loves the way he plays the game. Away from basketball, Jacie is a steak lover and a fan of musician Sam Smith.
