Having to watch my teammates play football without my for my senior season once I injured my shoulder.

Best thing about competing in prep sports:

Being able to do something that I like to do with all of my friends and my buddies that I’ve played with and competed with for my whole life.

Best feeling in sports:

Scoring a touchdown or getting a big hit at safety.

Credentials:

South Lafourche High School senior standout Dominick Fillinich is a Jack of all trades. The Tarpons’ senior was a standout performer on both the football gridiron and on the Tarpons’ track and field teams. In football, he was a quarterback at times and also a dominant defensive back. In track, Fillinich is a jumper and thrower, competing in the long jump, high jump, triple jump and javelin.
