Preston is a starting guard for an Ellender Memorial High School basketball team that is attempting to make a playoff run in the Class 4A State Playoffs. The Patriots have scorers who can put the ball in the hole in bunches, but Bourda gives the team a big-time defensive presence, disrupting opponents’ offenses.

Bourda is one of serial freshman starters for Ellen-der. He is one of the top defensive players in the area, especially on the ball. He is also more than capable of making the 3-point shot.
