I am in the 5th grade
Sports:
I stay active in a lot of sports. I am a member of Lafourche Hurricanes Soccer, South Lafourche Biddy Basketball, where I was a member of the 9-10 White Team All-Stars, and also the Larose Lasers swim team. I’ve also cheered for Alstarzs Cheerleading Academy in Larose.
Best thing about soccer:
I’d say it’s stealing the ball from the other team and going score!
Best advice ever given about soccer:
“Shoot for the stars, but aim for the goal.”

Potato soup

I want to be a 2nd grade reading teacher.

What did you do this past weekend in sports?
I stay busy! I went to the parades on Friday night, then played in my All-Star tournament on Saturday for the South Lafourche Biddy Basketball 9-10 White Team. After that, I played soccer on Sunday. I stay busy, but I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Credentials:
Larose native Atalin Guidry can score goals at ease. She can also shoot hoops, cheer and swim. Away from athletic competition, Atalin is also a great student, good big sister and hopeful future teacher. Impressive enough? Guidry is this week’s Player of the Week because of all of the above accolades and accomplishments. In soccer, she is a terror – one of the best young players in the area, having already won a state championship. She is just picking up basketball but is already enjoying success.
