Ray John Usie, 84, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:04 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, from 9 a.m. until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with a memorial service following at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Mr. Usie was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He worked in the oilfield industry for over 40 years, and he enjoyed golf and the New Orleans Saints.

Mr. Usie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Everett Usie; son, Kenny (Ashley) Usie and Scott Usie; daughter Dana (Steven) Usie Cooke; daughter-in-law, Debbie Usie; sisters, Elaine “Tootie” (Robert) Levron and Marril Daigle; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
