Raymond Nails, 81, a lifelong educator in Lafourche Parish and with the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux’s Central Catholic High School of Morgan City, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
Mr. Nails earned a degree in education from Northwestern State University, with post-graduate work at San Antonio College, Nicholls State University and Louisiana State University. A U.S. Army veteran, he served from July 1957 to July 1959.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (John III) Stone, and two granddaughters.
A funeral mass will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
