Robert D. Owens Sr., 90, a native of Ida, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died on Friday, June 2, 2017.
Mr. Owens worked in the oilfield, loved his family and was a hard worker. He was a parishioner of Christ Sanctified Holy Church.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Dufrene Owens; sons, Darrell (Jackie) Billingsley, Robert Jr. (Laura) and Scott (Stacie) Owens; daughters, Christine (A.J.) Meyer and Karen (Tommy) Knight; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Matherne Cemetery in Bayou Blue.
